Here's what I did. Nothing too fancy, so I'm hoping to learn some tricks from other posts:

Gaps between doors and side walls: strips of black foam weatherstripping on the inside edges of the glass doors, nearest the hinges. The foam sticks out slightly beyond the edge of the glass and touches the inside of the adjacent wall when the door is closed.

Gap between doors: black electrical tape wrapped around edges of door glass. Multiple layers until gap was closed. Good electrical tape sticks suprisingly well even when very wet.

Top cover: more foam weatherstripping on underside edges of glass top, seats on flange below. Cut away as neccessary to fit around the bumps near the hinges.

I haven't noticed any other places in need of any special treatment, but I understand these tanks vary a bit.

For the top I used the hard plastic flourecent covers for offices cut to the size to fit on the lid (2 pieces i think it was 7.25"x14" on the 18x18x24" exo) than used clear silicone around the edges of the plastic to make sure i didn't miss any spots.

hmm i got every thing sealed now but the doors. i dont want to add tape because i want to keep them as clear as i can. also do most people put a vent on the top of the exo terra or just use the one on the front glass?

well i have been trying to figure out how to ff proof my exo terra also. they keep getting up and out so i just duct taped the background to the little lip on the very top of the tank. seems okay for now. not so sure about the venting part although i hear darts dont need too much ventilation.

Same tank same problem. Did a little of all. Taped all edges of the glass on top off sreen. I did keep screen for I have 4'' fan top left. Taped up bottom vents below door electrical tape. I do leave a small cup of beer or vinigar and dish soap out by tank for it collects those you chose not to b food. Works great!! I may try tapeing doors good idea
