Default New Mistking HELP PLEASE!

So I was very excited when my new mistking arrived with the digital seconds timer.

In setting it up I seem to be missing how to properly connect the fittings and tubing.

Every time I power on the vibrations of the pump are causing water to leak out of all the fittings. I don't want to flood my tank and right now the only remedy seems to be holding the hose manually and pushing it into the fitting while it sprays. It is also leaking when the unit is off where the tubing goes into the fitting...

What am I missing?

push harder on the tubing in the fitting, I think you are thinking it has seated inside the fitting but you usually have to push a little bit harder to get it to fully seat. Also make sure your end of the tubing is cut perfectly straight.

You need to push the tubing into all the fittings as far as they will go. Push through the first point of resistance.

Edit: Like he said LoL took my time...

Thank you so much! I was afraid to push too hard and break something. Not one of my fittings was in properly.

Yay!

Tell me how you like the new timer. Remember that if you hold the top arrow for 5 sec, it will override and allow for manual mist.

So far I really like it. I managed to accidently set it for 10minutes instead of 10 seconds but you had previously warned us against this. No biggie since I was there to stop it.

Thanks for the tip on the manual override. I will play with that more tomorrow.
