Default weed block then gs?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has put their weed block down first, then great stuffed it into place? I plan on cutting the fabric so there is a little space around the edges of the eggcrate for the great stuff to hold on to.

I do it that way. Get the false bottom done then add GS. You could do it the other way too, it's just a matter of preference.

I do it this way too. I think it seals the false bottom better.
