Default First Bull on land

Finally my first Bull has gone on land.
But the front leg is gone 😬.
What could be the reason? I have to kill it unfortunately.

One last thing, where are many Bulls in captivity born without spot on their backs?

That looks like SLS.. (Spindly leg syndroom) a shortage of vitamines from you parents.

I believe the 'dotless' captive bred frogs also are related to this.. Probably the supplementation of cartenoids have influence on this.

I do not understand because I gave them vitamin. I do this at every feeding. And my vitamins are brand new

I takes some time, it's possible the frogs did not receive the vitamines when laying the eggs. Or the frogs we're still not in perfect health due to the recovery from the previous supplements.

In my experience most young oophaga first offspring is not 'the best', so give it more time. You will get there 😉

Also

Keep your supplements regrigereated and change every 6 months.

And

Congratiolation for the progress you already made! Breeding Oophaga Historionica is not that commom in the hobby! 🙂
