Can oophaga cannibalize their newly emerged froglets?

Does anyone know if Bastimentos will ever cannibalize their young?
This morning when the lights came on in the tank, my very large female was smacking her mouth repeatedly in the way that I've seen frogs trying to swallow something large. She is a very big girl, and now her belly is enormous. The recently emerged froglets look too big to fit in her mouth, but I'm just not sure. She is the largest Bastimentos I've ever seen (not that I've seen a lot though).

Maybe she was shedding?

Did you see her "smacking her mouth" at or near a young froglet? If not, I would assume she is shedding or maybe accidentally ingested some dirt with a fly that got her choked up for a minute. I've never heard of Oophaga cannibalizing their young.
