Default Colubre-blue

Anyone else pick up some of these guys? Are they shy? I have heard mixed thoughts.

I have heard from him, just wondering about others' experiences.

I have heard that they are really shy. Local friend has them. Maybe he will pitch in to share his first hand experience.

I have four and they are fairly bold. The two juvies are skittish but I see (and hear) the males all day. They're one of my favorites now

Thank you, I really can't wait to get a proper camera, but it's hard when I keep buying frogs! I borrow one for now.

I put five brom-heavy cypress knees from 12-20 inches high in an 18x18x24 and they are always hopping from one to the other and calling. I'll try to get good footage tonight and put a link here

Still just the phone camera, but I had to stick my arm in there to get even a decent pic and they don't really care.

Mine do not seem particularly shy. My extra male is still just in a QT tub but is always out where I can see him. My pair just went into their permanent viv and they are visible regularly as well. Here is a picture from my camera phone of my male that is housed with the female. I did not even have to chase him for the picture, unlike some frogs I have tried to photograph.

How big are they? Really pretty frogs! Like the smaller version of a darker Azureus.

I have 2 pairs, 1 are shy and 1 are not shy. Just picked up a few males and they are not shy.
I have some pictures in https://www.facebook.com/LivingColorsCA. Sorry, I am too lazy to reduce the image's size for posting.

Mine are similar in size to my Dragos. Smaller than Blue and Black Jean pumilio, but still a fairly large morph.

I have a trio I see my male all the time and constantly calling. I see the other two one female one suspected female, they are in the leaf litter feeding all the time but I can see them most of the time. Cool frogs!
