Default Watching pumilio raise babies?

I was thinking if it would be possible to use the plastic boba straws or glass test tubes and allow for a clear view of the tadpoles as they are being raised? Would the parents still use them if you put a few near the front of the tank at various levels? What if you also provided a bromeliad or two?

In the wild breeding/research projects use large plastic straws folded in half as a substitute for bromeliads so I assume it would work in a vivarium. though they do seem to prefer broms to film cans but worth at try.

I like the glass test tube idea. I would love to see my frogs "naturally" take care of the tads. I don't know how well it would work, but if it does please let me know!

Do you have to not include bromeliads to get them to use the tubes?

Does anyone know if pumilio use any bromeliads in the wild that are in culture and stay small?

My bastis seem to prefer film cannisters over broms.

The pumilio that I have observed in the wild all seemed to prefer breeding in trash over broms, not to say they didn't use broms.

My bastimentos and blue jeans use both bromeliads and tubes. My el dorados broms rotted out so all they're got are pill bottles and tubes.

I have a pair of Cristobal that I got from
Sports Doc and I use broms and film
Canisters. To be honest, I can't even
Look down at them. I enjoy the surprise
Of looking into the tank and finding little
Hoppers. I first saw one and was very excited
Kept a close eye on the tank with fingers crossed
To see if there were anymore. A couple
Days later saw a second one, very exciting. The
Best part after almost two weeks enjoying
The little ones I was amazed to find a third
One. No worries about the eggs or are the
Tads being fed, just one day bang. Surprise
