Default Bromeliad salamanders

So I just recently learned about the group of salamanders of the geneus Dendrotriton known as bromeliad salamanders. There doesn't seem to be too much info out there on them. Just wondering if anyone has any info on these guys and if they ever show up in the hobby?

These look very similar to the slender salamanders we have in California. I have found them in all kinds of moist locations including in plants. They are mostly nocturnal and/or subterranean.

Given our proximity to central America and the similarity of appearance, I would guess these guys are related and may have similar preferences. If so, then they would be perfectly happy in a cool/moist viv but you would rare ever see them...
