Smile Greetings!

Hello all!

I've already posted once and received some much needed help regarding pumilio viv size, but I'm posting here to introduce myself. I've kept fish and reptiles for pretty much all of my life, and have always had interest in dart frogs, so I'm finally giving it a shot on my own. I currently keep a reef aquarium, a planted aquarium, and am getting back into Phelsuma laticauda after having kept them for a while a couple years ago.

I work at a local fish/herp store, and I've taken close care of auratus and tinctorius long term there for some time, but that's the extent of my experience with darts. Right now I am setting up a 40 Breeder (36x18x18) for some auratus to be my first set of frogs and get me familiar with keeping darts at home. I am also in the beginning stages of building my own vivarium (30x15x24) to house some O. pumilio in the future and will build another one of the same dimensions down the road for some R. variabilis.

If there are any helpful tips you guys can offer as I start my dart frog journey, I'd greatly appreciate them. I've done hours and hours of research over the past few months on these beautiful animals, but as is apparent by my pumilio post, I still have some gaps in some of my knowledge that I think can really only be filled by people with experience and resources that I haven't read yet that I think some of you may be able to recommend.

Thanks and glad to be here!

Thanks I got it for super cheap and haven't started on setup yet, so I think I'm going to take apart the glass and make it front opening a la this instructional video, but with similar dimensions to the original tank:

That's pretty slick! Make sure to post pictures along the way. We'd love to see the progress.
