Default Here to say hey!

Hey y'all. I've started building my viv and it's been so much fun. It feels good to put the creative juices to use on something that will soon be alive. Finished the background on my Exo Terra large wide this afternoon. Gonna start shopping around for plants in the coming weeks. Tads are healthy and growing. It's slowly coming together.

I've ordered 4 D. Tinc "Oyapok" tads. The two smallest bellied up yesterday. One looks large and healthy. It stays fairly active. The other isn't quite as large but seems a little bloated. If not it's not bloated, it's an oddly rounded tadpole from what I've seen. I ordered them from a dealer that I found out isn't very reputable after the fact (not placing blame. I'm brand new to darts). Poorly done research on my part but they were the only folks selling Oyapok tads. I also felt inclined to support a fellow Kansan. Lesson learned.

Not all vendors are created equal, that is for sure.

With that said, I wouldn't give up on your bloated tad just yet. I have had many tads recover from various issues they encountered in their development and morph out into beautiful healthy froglets. Good luck.
