Default Re: Tinley Park Oct 19

The fall NARBC Tinley always has a greater number of vendors than spring. There were more vendors at the latest Tinley than there have ever been -- vendors were in three rooms down the hall, too.

At the Oct show, I didn't see DFC, who was on the vendor list. I recall one more vendor of mostly Dendrobates at one or more previous shows, but I don't recall who it was.

At the Oct show, RFJ and Jared Ruffing and Edgewood were there, who are all top-notch.

All that said, I would never go to a general herp show expecting to see much in the way of dart frogs, nor would I be likely to purchase darts from a show without a lot of pre-planning (I preordered frogs, and bought another I knew would be there because the vendor pre-advertised availability).

Honestly, I've gotten to the point where I prearrange most of my show purchases (or at least have a mental list of which vendors I might buy from if they happen have an animal I'm planning to acquire), since researching a vendor takes much more time than a person can spend during a show.
I think I could turn and live with animals, they are so placid and self-contain'd.
