The order of crustaceans that isopod belong to, Peracarida, is actually defined by the fact that they carry their eggs in a special brooding chamber under their bodies. Wish I could tell you what they are, but I don’t know 🙂 all I can tell you is what they aren’t haha. Hopefully someone else on here knows their invert eggs better than me!

A Google images search of 'slug eggs' yields pictures that are very similar to the one you posted.

Greetings,

Looks like you have at least 1, large resident slug. Check the tank with a flashlight after the lights are out for a few hours tonight and you will likely find slugs.

Obviously you should remove these eggs immediately.

Thanks for all the help guys!

This ended up being some kind of fungi, it grew extremely rapidly for about 12 hours and then died. I haven't seen it back since.



I'm locked out of my account and cant see the Market Place...I though I just needed 2 post in here and then I was good....
