Default Poor Frogger died today and I’m so new!

My poor blue azureus wasn’t eating and then turned brown and mucusy and died today in his tiny waterfall. Kermit is still alive and well but I’m wondering what I may have done wrong? Humidity is around 80-90 and temps are steady around 23c. Any help would be awesome!!

Sorry to hear of your loss. There are a number of reasons why your frog may have passed. A couple of questions for you that may help in figuring out what may have happened:

How long have you had the frog?
Did you get your frogs from the same source, at the same time?
What were you supplementing with?
What size enclosure?
Are your frogs old enough to sex? Were they both females?

Hi All,
Attaching photos of the enclosure and my poor little one! (once I figure out how to do that lol)
The humidity may be too high after reading posts, I'm usually sitting around 85-90%, temps are steady at 23c dropping to around 20-21c at night. I've had both frogs from the same reputable breeder for about two months now, I think one was aggressive as the one that died was pretty shy and now that it's gone the other is in all it's glory out and about all the time enjoying life alone it seems. Too young to sex so not sure if both were female or not. Supplement with calcium and vitA, fed with FF and springtails. I found my poor guy in his waterfall, not sure if he meant to drown himself or not but he found the tiny little semi deep area and that was it when I came home.

90% of the time dartfrogs in captivity die beacause they are kept to wet. After we can see if this is the case or not , i still ask more obvious questions than the above.
Pictures of the tank will make things more clear ofc.

add your images to imgbb and copy the link in the text if you want to add them to this topic

Keep in mind the enclosure is about 50% wetter than that pic most of the time.

This tank is not suitable for tinctorius. They need leaflitter and no moss as botomsubstrate. The frog probably died from bellyrot. (Im not sure this is the correct term in English) This is how tinctorius natural habbitat looks like : https://youtu.be/gNlZLBpivMI

That tank does not look suitable. I would recommend ditching the fogger, adding a significant amount of leaf litter, and considering a larger tank without a water feature.
