Default Intro and question - Exo Terra 36x18x36

First time poster. Been lurking on here for about a week. Not allowed to post anywhere else. lol

My name is Josiah I have been keeping planted aquariums for close to 10 years now. I have been getting an inch to do another tank and it was between salt water and a vivarium.

Planing on doing a fairly elaborate build over several months to get the perfect looking viv.

I really like the size of the extra tall exo terra (wish it was deeper sad face).

Is anyone currently using one? Pros/cons? Not many pictures on the internet and the only reviews on the thing are negative in regards to how poorly they ship.

Welcome to the forum. I have seen them and don't personally care for the dimensions. I agree with you, they aren't deep enough given their height. I would expect a lot of shadows lower down as the background filled out and shades everything.

Ignore the missing piece of background at the top lol. It's hard to work with because of the dimensions but I personally like it. The only problem is with heavy lighting I've had heat problems (now fixed).

Thanks for the reply's. Ill keep the heat issue in mind when lighting.

I wanted to add a water feature but I feel with the limited space I might have an issue.

Funny talking about a tank this size and limited space haha
