Introduction of myself and my frogroom

Hello,
I would like to use the opportunity to introduce myself and my frog room. I started with keeping tropical fish a long time ago, and kept them many years. I even kept some day geckos and D. leucomelas during my studies. So, a good few years later, I rediscover frogs and geckos again. However, my main focus are frogs. I care for the following species:

1,2 Dendrobates tinctorius ‚Azureus‘
1,1,4 Ranitomeya summersi
1,1 Ranitomeya imitator ‘Huallaga’
1,1 Ranitomeya imitator ‘Baja Huallaga‘
1,2 Ranitomeya amazonica ‘Arena Blanca’
2,3 Oophaga pumilio ‘Almirante’

My terraria have the following dimensions: 4x 16x16x24 inches, 2x 20x16x24 inches and 28x16x24 inches.

Welcome to the forum. That is a nice collection you have going. What frogs are in what tanks?

Thank you. I have been reading and getting inspirations from the forum for quite some time.

1,2 Dendrobates tinctorius ‚Azureus‘ (28x16x24 inches)
1,1,4 Ranitomeya summersi (20x16x24 inches)
1,1 Ranitomeya imitator ‘Huallaga’ (16x16x24 inches)
1,1 Ranitomeya imitator ‘Baja Huallaga‘ (16x16x24)
1,2 Ranitomeya amazonica ‘Arena Blanca’ (16x16x24)
2,3 Oophaga pumilio ‘Almirante’ (20x16x24 inches and 16x16x24 inches)

The O. pumilio, R. amazonica, R. summersi and D. tinctorius have all produced tadpoles recently. Actually, the R. amazonica are so productive that I stopped pulling tadpoles out of the terrarium, but still froglets appear in the tank. The tadpoles apparently feed on eggs that were deposited by the parents at a later stage.

I hope that this will work and you can have a look at the setup. I am not so sure how to post images.

Thank you.
Here is my favorite terrarium. It is home to my 1,1 R. imitator 'Huallaga'

They are a bit shy....

I got them by accident. The male was accidentally sold to me with a group of R. summersi. I like them because them being a rare example of Müllerian mimicry in vertebrates, and therefore, go well with my R. summersi.

My goal was to represent most colors, tadpole care and an example of Müllerian mimicry in my collection.

Beautiful!

Your Neoregelias look fantastic! What lighting are you using?

It's definitely a nicely rounded collection.
Beautiful tank by the way.

Thank you.

I am really happy with the growth of my bromeliads and other plants. I settled for LED lighting (Skylight Pro RH and RV). All terraria have 2x 12 Watt LED panels with 1500 lm, 6500 K and CRI Type 92 each. The following images are for Skylight Pro RH, but they have different options.

I am using in total 14 lamps (6x RH and 8xRV) for my terraria, while RV have a more focused light beam for vertical terraria, and RH have a more wider beam. I hope this answers your question.
(I have no financial interest in Slylight besides being a customer:))
