90x50x45cm Fluorescent lamp queastion

Hello everyone!
My name is Bartek and I live in Poland.
I want to create my viv again and I am thinking about changing my lightning. Now I am using four fluorescent lamp: 2x39W T5 (10000k, 8500k) and 2x35W T5 (6500k). 35W lamps are switched off because I think they have been burning my plants. I think that better option would be 2x39W 6500k and 1x35W 8500k. My tank is 90x50x45cm. What do you think? Would it be enough?
My viv is going to be mainly with tropical mosses and small plants.
Thanks for help!

Re: 90x50x45cm Fluorescent lamp queastion

I used to have planted aquariums and there were a lot of things I had to consider besides watts, like lux, depth and size of the tank. A lot of stuff I forgot about now but I have found growing plants in a terrarium a lot easier than growing plants in an aquarium full of water.

I currently have a 18" x 18" by 24" tall terrarium. If your tank is 90 cm tall the dimensions of our tanks would be pretty close. I have 3 strips of LEDs which require about 53 watts in total. I don't now how many lumens or lux my lights put out but I'm gonna take a guess and assume your +60 watts of florescent light would make up for the higher efficiency of my LEDs.

Right now I have a mixture of Christmas and Coral moss growing in my tank. I also have two ferns, a couple of air plants, a creeping wire vine, and a few other aquatic plants growing in a small pool in a corner of the tank. I don't have a problem growing these plants in my tank but then again they are relatively low light demanding.

Here's a pic of my tank after trimming the two ferns on the sides.

A couple of closer pics of the plants.

Beautiful tank!
Thank you for your answer!
My plants grow with this T5 lights. I think that I will buy 2x39W 6500k. Hope that it will be enough!
Do you have any experience with hygrolon or epiweb?
I want to use it for the first time and make a background with hygrolon and epiweb. But I don't know how to stick hygrolon to epiweb. Any ideas?
