Default Hello from Ohio

New to the forum here. I've been keeping salt water and coral tanks for a while and recently decided to do a vivarium for dart frogs as a project with my boys. We did a 55 gallon viv and it's been planted for a few weeks. Things are settling in and we have 3 fruit fly cultures going now. Hoping to pick up some frogs ( thinking luecomelas) soon.

Seem like a good frog to start with. There are a few others I would like to get after I get some more experience but luecs seem to have most everything I was looking for in a first frog.

Very good choice! I currently have a Fine Spot Leuc breeding pair. So cool to watch the male call and to see the eggs grow into froglets! What area are you from?

edit: lol I just re-read the title. Duh!

Yah in southwest Ohio. I'm hoping to be able to raise a few froglets in the future also. I have 3 boys and they are pretty pumped about getting the frogs. They have been having fun just getting the fruit flies started and building the viv.

Full tank shot. I'm still thinking about adding some more wood to utilize the tank height. I also have a mist king system on it's way.
