Default Ello Thar

Hello! I am completely new to the dart frog world and I can't wait to get into this gorgeous hobby!
My first question is, is wider or taller a better option for darts? Like dendrobates leucomelas. I have been suggested that these are great beginner frogs, so I figured I would look more into them and see what they are all about. If you Have any suggestions on what threads I could read that would be great as well.

Thanks! <3

Here's a care sheet for leucs: https://www.dendroboard.com/forum/ca...as-novice.html

You can use the search field at the top of this (and every) page to look for other answers, like 'terrarium vs aquarium' (599 results).

Happy searching!

I think I could turn and live with animals, they are so placid and self-contain'd.

The size and dimensions of the tank will depend on the specie you wish to work with. Select the frog first, then build the tank around its needs.

Luecs will utilize the entirety, of the tank.
