Default May 17th Michigan Froggers Meeting

Is at my house!

1202 Whittier Rd
Ypsilanti, MI 48197

Are these things usually around Noon? That works for me.
I was thinking about grilling some meat up on the grill. I'll probably pick up a big pack of those awesome all beef and natural casing hot dogs (I can't remember the name right now) and maybe some burgers. If you'd like anything else from the grill you'd have to bring it and I'll throw it on the fire. I'm a charcoal snob -- no gas.

What else...
I was thinking it might be cool to collect donations for the Amphibian Ark. I don't know if this sort of thing is usually done, talked about or frowned upon.

I don't have a large collection to look at but variety is the spice of life so I volunteered my house.

I won't be there due to orchid judging conflicts... But if you need any plants, just let me know and I'll get them to Josh so he can bring them.

Zach, I'll have to let you know about the carpooling...I'm hoping to be able to squeeze in a few more clients between now and then so I can afford to go. I'll be coming straight through Lansing if I can make it.

Crossing my fingers,

Aubry

I would be great to kind of get a head count over the next week/week and a half. That way I'll know how much food I'll have to get.

I'll also have some albino axolotls ready to go. They're around 2 inches long and just starting on pellet food. Interested in trading for frogs.

I would like to come, but its starting to look like I may not have a ride. Anyone going from the Grand Rapids area? I'll throw in on gas, beer, and some brots or something for the grill.

So, I'll plan on around 20 people even though only a few have replied to this thread.
How many usually come to these things?

All who volunteered to bring soda/snacks/chips feel free. I'll be picking up some ground beef, dawgs and buns. If anyone wants beer feel free to bring it. I like a really hoppy IPA.

I'll see everyone around 12:00 this Saturday. I'm looking forward to hosting.

I'd say that is good number to plan on.

Don't forget to get your orders to me via PM or Email (Drew, please don't call while I'm packing up the car like last meeting....)

Zack, What is Sylvania natans? For tadpole cups or will it grow in tanks?
