Default Changed out the grapevines for some wood branches!

I am getting a juvi Leuc tomorrow as well as 3 tads. This is the tank they will all eventually be in together.
I took the kids out in the woods and wetlands this afternoon, and we found the wood which I then baked for 2 hours at 300 degrees. The house still smells of cooking wood!

I like the look of the wood but that wood looks like it may not last too long in there before it rots out. Hope I am wrong cause it looks good.

It might just be me But I love the smell of the wood when its baking ! Or in the microwave.

Tank looks great. Even if it does rot it'll just be more food for the microfauna !

I have some really nice back up pieces that we collected that I'm wanting to put in a viv, so if I haven't put them in another project by the time these are rotted away enough I'll stick them in there as replacements!

The smell reminded me of a campfire! Loved it!
