Default Second build, 20G vert

After a couple months since the start of this build, it is finally to a point where I am almost ready for some frogs! It was slow going due to school and work, but I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Just used the ol' reliable GS and silicone as it worked well for me in the past. I am considering putting a piece of wood somewhere in the foreground to add a bit more depth as well as hopping space

bare-bones: GS/silicone/coco (sorry its blurry!)

first round of plants with false bottom:

2nd round, and rearranged a bit:

(full view please --> pictures are squished, at least in my browser...)

thanks to James67 for providing a few plant clippings for this tank B)

Very nice layout! It will only get better with time and frogs of course. Could you please share where you got the door kit from? (If you made it I would like a parts list.)

it is a 20 vert kit from jungle box
20 gallon high vertical conversion kit – Jungle Box

It ended up taking a while to get to me, but Dane at Junglebox handled everything nicely. All-in-all, I would order from him again.

Question...Does the standing water you have in the front...Do you mist or do anything to it? Or do the frogs go in it enough to keep movement and from the water going bad/stagnate?

The viv looks great!

Thanks for the comment! At the moment I just mist the tank daily. There were thoughts about installing a mini pump for a little movement, but is this necessary? The plan without a pump was to just have that area in the front for easy access for when the water needed to be changed.

Nice job. The background looks great and the finished tank is beautiful.
