i also love to put statues in my tanks, unfortunatly i dont have any picutes. Im looking right now for sometime of aztec statue. In an old leuc tank i took a stone angel statue and broke its head off and placed the head in the tank. The frogs seemed to always be on that thing.

And yes i felt a little bad about breaking an angels head off.

Pretty cool looing tank! I always thought it would be cool to put one of those glass skulls (bottle) from that "Crystal Head Skull Vodka" and have moss growing all over it etc. I don't have any statues either, but neat idea and original looking tank!

I like looking at items in tanks or theemed tanks. To me it draws in the eye quickly. I'm interested to see others with props or theemed tanks!

Not a statue but a prop of sorts. I have had this skull from what I think may be a raccoon or maybe a small K-9. I liked the way it looked in my day gecko viv....

I made this little guy out of clay after I couldnt find a buddah anywhere in town...Im thinking of blending up a java/yogurt/honey slurrey and painting it over his fat belly :P Then once it gets some good growth, stick it in one of my vivs.

No statues here... not yet at least. I haven't found one that I'll be satisfied with in one of my vivs. However, skulls never get old... I've got a skull and cross bones one that's patiently waiting to get in one of my vivs

Not exactly a vivarium, but I think it sticks to the theme of the thread well enough...

Still got some growing out, rearranging, and new plants to experiment with, but it's coming along.

Here's what it looked like 11 days ago...

You can tell the difference between right after and right before a water change: that wood is still leaking tannins like crazy. Definitely getting some good growth, though . Nothing like co2 and ferts to speed things along.

Nice! Love the fish tank! Where do you find stuff like that? I have some frog yard figurines that I might clean up and add to a tank.

Awesome mushroom Trevor. I'm looking for some kind of statue to put in my Mint Teribilis tank that I'm building right now. I am thinking maybe getting like a animal skull on ebay or something...? Idk, I want to put some kind of statue thing in there, I love statues in the tank. Here is the tank I was talking about earlier of my 10g vert with a tiki statue in it.

Here's a shot of my 3 year old viv. It's a wooden mask that I cut the bottom of the jaw off and left it open behind for a hiding area.

That's funny! Did he ever tell you what kind of mask it was or who wore them?
