Default Bombina maxima

Hi,
Here Bombina maxima. This species is rare in the terrarium. I'll post a few pictures to promote this beautiful frog. She is originally from China in the Sichuan region at an altitude of about 1800m. It has a size of 5 or 6 cm and the belly is red or yellow. The problem in my area is to maintain the water at about 18c maximum. It is very difficult and for this reason that I did not laying this year, too hot. I will soon make a new terrarium for them, with a waterfall and a larger area of water, for I hope, eggs next year!

I have a terrarium for Heliamphora pitcher plants that I ran a tube through a small refrigerator back into the terrarium into a small radiator to keep it cooler. You might try something like that with a I have since unhooked the refrigerator since the plants seem comfortable in the normal house temperature range.
