Great shot and lovely frogs. I too love the look of southern variabilis and I wish they were more readily available.

Great looking frogs! Is that film canister the highest one in the tank? Mine seem to only hang out/lay in the highest canister. My male likes to jump at me anytime I disturb them there.

i think its the second highest. mine arent picky about the placement as long as its tipped just enough to hold a little water.

understory usually has some. other than that, i have a bunch of tads in the water. and it finally looks like they are going to make it to froglets! front legs are popping!

The title of the thread... is that a Family Guy quote? I know I've heard it before, but I just can't place it....

I love the southerns, I just wish mine were a little more bold....

18 cube. Very large brom, lots of leaf litter, some extra leaf cover, water feature.... I'm currently keeping them in an 0.2, but I've got two males (hopefully) coming from UE in September.

you might want to add vines and some wood that makes kind of a little dark corner with a lot of leaf litter. mine seem to like that, along with holes in the background for hiding.

oh, and mine spend a lot of time in lucky bamboo.
