Cool broms and nice pics. Looks like the vivs are coming together nicely. I always have a hard time capturing a viv on camera, can't really show the depth and half the time I'm so nervous a frog will get out, I don't pay attention to the focus.

Side note though, are you attached to that sls froglet? I had a leuc pop out with sls a few months back and gave him the freezer treatment, much easier to do when they are young. They will survive, but dragging its face on the ground to get fruit flies doesn't sound like the life...

yea i need to give him the treatment........ i was just kinda hopin it would survive lol.... poor lil fella.... and yea i worry bout the frogs jumping out sometimes when i take pics but usually they just bail as soon as they see a camera lol.....and hide till i leave so its usually pretty easy.

Just fyi, freezing isn't considered a humane method. If he can hold himself up, you should keep him though.

ya he can hold himself up.... just uses his elbows.... i mean i dont see killing him just because he uses his elbows to get around.... humane or not ima keep him till he starts looking skinny or something.... we dont kill the downsyndrome children so why kill this lil guy lol.... If he starts looking bad like i said i'll get some orajel or something and do it right.... he seems to find the leaves with springs all over them and just chills there and eats.....ima name him gimpy....or nubs....

Honestly I think freezing or orajel is much better than having him survive with no use of his front arms. That seems even more cruel in my opinion. It's not like he is going to become a breeder or a decent frog. Just another example of frogs in captivity surviving that wouldn't have a chance in the wild.

No use of his front arms and just faceplanted would be a different story, orajel would definitely be in order then.
