Default I got CRAZY frogs!

I picked up 6 auratus today from a local hobbiest. Within the first hour they were checking out their new digs and jumping all over. A few found hinding spots but 2 of them are more bold. These guys climbed the waterfall, sat in the return stream, jumped off the waterfall, climbed the driftwood, climbed the plants, scaled the glass and basically ran amuck!

I did not expect to see such activity. My whole family is enjoying our new friends. To quote my 5 year old son "I could watch these nutty frogs all day... who's with me?!"

Here's one that perched right in front of the tank...

Thanks!

They're hiding more today but my temp is 70. I put a 50 heater cable under the tank to raise it up a bit.

They will get shy for a while until they calm down from the stress of shipping and new tank. So be ready for that.

These were picked up locally so their travel time was very short. However they still were pulled from a home they were used to so that can be stressfull too.
