Default E. anthonyi (SI)

Visited with a local frogger friend of mine this weekend and picked up a group of these:

For anyone unfamiliar with this species, they are a medium-sized dart frog that turns a brilliant red by their second year. Looking forward to breeding these in the next year.

Comments welcome.

I think they're a great little frog. I have a trio that just started laying 2 mos. ago. I currently have their first four 3-day old tads swimming around in a cup.

They also are very vocal and call constantly.

Good choice and nice looking group you have.

Mine are about a year old and have already turned that red color, with some help from naturose.

Mine are almost a year old and the male calls constatly. They have been breeding but not much luck with the eggs fully developing, however I have my first tadpole which has survived more than a week. Hopefully more fertile eggs will develop soon.
