Default Lamasi Paguana: Some good shots!

Hi there,

I have never managed to get a decent shot of these guys untill now.
They are in my new rack and since I use osmose water, I can shoot through the glass so I have a better chance to get some nice shots!

Here are the first two:

These are from my male!

And a pic from my recent Zoo visit! I just like him and wanted to share!

Hope you'll like it!

Grtz Dennis

Nice looking frogs.
How are they to keep? Active?

hey! I personnaly love them as you can see since I have 2 trios. They can be shy, but I can always see at least one! And as far as I have experience they are quite easy to breed!

Are they climbing a lot?

How big are the tank that you keep them in?

well they actually only get to the bottom, when they hunt for speingtails, so yes they climb a lot!

The viv is in centimeters 40w x 50d x 60 H

you can see a picture of their tanks in my recent thread: New rack 3 vivs......

I house them 1.2 at the moment but some more females, will work also.

Good luck
Dennis

well I have to be honest to you, since I just saw that you joined DB just recently I figure you may be a starter. Don.t know if this is true but...

Lamasi are in no way as bold as tincs of leucs. And from what i have heared I have some quite bold lamasi. I have spoken people who never see their lamasi. So I want to be honest with you, to prevend any dissapointment.

They were my first frogs and I never regret it, but if you want some frogs you can always see pick some other species.

This is not to get you out of the lamasi but just as a small warning.

And ofcourse i am not sure that these will be your first frogs!

Good luck!

@ the rest, what do you think of the pics?

Thanks.
But I am already keeping two Azureus and I am buying two more soon. I am also keeping other frog species and a chameleon.

Så I think I'm ready.

The reason that I haven't joined DB earlier is that I dont live in UK or USA.

Great frog. I first wanted to buy these guys, but I decided to take the banded imitator.

Mine were shy when I first put them in their tank. After a couple months they became much more bold. They're no where near as tincs or leucs, but they'll actively hunt in front of you.
