Default Took a few closeups today

One of my highland bronze auratus was pretty curious today so he posed for a few shots. I also threw in a few of my tomato frogs. All of the shots are through the glass so not the best quality.

The tomato frogs were actually in a decent place for some pics so I shot a few of them too. The male is pretty brown, but the female is turning an amazing shade of red.

the auratus has sort of a question mark on its throat. Cool

Those highland bronzes are beuties! Those are awesome shots, too. Way better than my crappy shots. Those tomatoes are nice.

Haha. I never noticed that.....although it was taken about an hour after a feeding. Rest assured they didn't last long as these guys are pigs.

They will sometimes dig in and make little depressions during the day. That's not all that often a situation though.

they are beautiful Tim. great frogs and pics.
Mine startred breeding again and was lucky enough to get some good eggs this week. the female was so fat and egg bound i was starting to get worried.
I'm glad there are more people working with these. They are my fav auratus.
