Default Terribilis with a bruise?

The tank that my Terribilis are in is old and not set up for glass lids. I bought a screen to cover the entire tank and covered the screen with glass. Last week when I was feeding, one of the frogs must have been hanging out at the top of the tank because when I scooted the lid back I found her in the floor. I gently picked her up and put her back into the tank. It has been a week and she still has the screen marks on her back (but is otherwise fine). Does anyone know if this could this just be a bruise or will it remain on her for life?

I just saw the place on her leg as well...I went back to the tank to check it out and it was spagnum.

totally reminds me of AVP (alien vs predator) when the alien gets the net pattern on its head from when the predator shoots it at him LOL
on a serious note, i would think if the frog is acting fine then it should naturally heal, ive also read of ppl using neosporin, i personally have no experience with any skin defects. on another note i'd get rid of that screed and get some glass cut to fit that tank!

have the screen marks diminished at ALL??, or does it look the same as when u first noticed it?

looks like a grill fell on him! do you have anything in the tank that has that kind of pattern?

Cool, frogs with tattoos i say just keep an eye out for any signs of infection but it should heal just fine. i had a really similar thing happen to a whites tree frog a few years ago. healed up, no worries.

Terribilis are notorious for lunging and banging into things. Then consider the mass of the frog itself.

I don't keep them, but know a few guys who actually use bubble wrap when housed in smaller containers and Q tanks!

Thats one frog I would not have anywhere near a screen

i woudl personally isolate the frog until he heals, he coudl develop a skin problem that can spread to the otehr frogs.

Can she squeeze herself between the screen and the Background or decoration?

Might want to run it by Dr. Frye
or another exotic vet ..he might offer
some kind of cream that will help
against scarring or just have some good
advice... i would have not waited so long
hopefully it hasnt set in or anything
If not then hey you have the only
gridded Terribilis out there !

I tried to take some pics of her earlier, but unfortunately they came out blurry. She still has the grill marks, but they have faded quite a bit. Bet you can't guess what we named her...LOL
