Default Amazon Milk Frog Paludarium Build

Hi Guy, I'm excited about this one, I will be posting some pics of steps along the way. Check my instagram if you want to see some video of the build, materials used, yadda yadda. #afroggin_good_day

I know the tree frogs might destroy some of the plants but I'm expecting this tank to last for some years I'm open to trial and error. Also down for some recommendations too, lol.

The frogs are settled in a 10gallon for now but the viv is well under way. I found the perfect rock to top my waterfall feature. The rock will be depressed further below the top of the cork falls to act as a sort of pond buffer (pump filter flow is a little quick) this will prevent my flow from flying off the edge and instead flow down the walls.

The angles are a bit weird but anyway.

The great stuff has been carved and I have begun siliconing and supporting the rock portion of the water feature.

The tank is on it's back but if it were being looked at straight on the waterfall is top left flowing to center. The right half will be the water portion of my paludarium about 3 to 5 inches.

This is my pump housing, there are two layers of eggcrate for the top portion. The first removable top will be wrapped in liner to hold substrate layer and to somewhat keep in tact when it needs to be lifted for monthly filter access.

All sides now complete. Tomorrow a little more carving of the great stuff on the left and it will then be time for the silicone and coco fiber.
