Default New rack- almost complete

Bought some new tanks of a local frogger, so added his and mine to the new racks

Poor camera, combined with frogs that try to escpae when you open the doors = bad pics!

Rack 1- big viv still to go on the bottom.

Rack 2- finished, but am replanting 2 vivs after getting inspiration from Alan's ones!

Tad tubs.

Temp housing / rearing tubs. These ar in my old rack. Another metal rack to go up today, but this bookcase is being burnt!

Heavy viv downstairs- still to move into rack 1!

Mantella Viv. Will eventually be a group of 10 after more of my babies have grown on.

Pygmy Chams

Empty atm.

Red Eyes

Bri Bri

Isla Popa

Azureiventris

Pangs

Leucs when they've grown on a bit (in temp housing).

Aurotaenia

Vents

Top row are slide up. Pair side by side in middle are removable front (use car dent sucker), bottom row are all sliding doors.

All measurements in inches.

Racks are 34 wide, so most rows of tanks add upto 33 wide.

Top row are all 20Hx18Dx11W

Middle:
Mantella is 15Hx18Dx28W
Other 2 are approx 15Hx15Dx14.5W

Bottom- Leuc viv is 15Hx18Dx22W Pang next to it is 15H18Dx11W

Big viv- 20Hx18Dx33W

Underneath rack 1- I keep a few mantids, and food cultures.

Underneath rack 2- Sanke tubs.

Rack three going in later. That'll house cultures, rearing tubs, tads, and african pygmy dormice!

Its a mix of xmas moss, and spike moss. Might be able to work out a trade for a fake rock like in your viv?! Also have loads of Mantella tads to go!

Thats assuming you are England UK?

Thanks a lot Chris. Where did you buy the moss from? It looks brilliant!
I live in the North West of England. Its nice to see another member from the U.K. What type of Mantella tads? if you don't mind me asking.
Regards
Marcus

Moss was in the viv when I bought it. Was sold preplanted / grown in. As said, sure we can work out a trade and i'll post you some.

Golden mantella tads- had about 200!

I like the laminated representative picture of the frogs in the tank on the frog. Consider it stolen, I always hate when people ask "what's in this one?" and then about 20 more times because I have nocturnal tree frogs, hah.

There made by a top frogger over here on the UK forum.

They're a great idea- really useful with shy species as ppl often just see empty vivs!

Did you breed them and then got all those tads, or buy from someone else?
Either way, sweet! and more info please

Thanks for posting.
I am using a rack setup also, so it is nice to see other examples.

Tad Tubs,
how do you have those set up?
Could we get a picture with the lid off?

Regards,

Frank

Thumbs up Re: New rack- almost complete

Nice set up. I like how you have each tank labeled with a picture of the residents.
