thanks, the dimensions are 70x80x130cm (27.5x31.5x51inches).
I've made a mistake. The first picture is from July 2008 and the second pic is half a year later.
I was a little confused, because I had another setup before :-)

This is really exceptional work. Did you purchase the tank or build it?
What frogs do you keep in there? How is it illuninated?

WOW, wow, wow....

I built it myself. I used alu profiles, just as the netherlands do.
The viv is illuminated with:
2x Metal halide lamps 4200K(70W)
2x Compact fluorescent lamps 5600K (36W)
1x UV Metal halide lamp (70W), for 1hour at noon
For twilight simulation: 1x Compact fluorescent lamp 3000K and 1x T8 fluorescent lamp 10000K

I keep Ranitomeya sp. "Rio Pachitea" in there:

Very nice. I cannot wait to get into my new place. Ill be doing a nice vertical enclosure, and pray that it turns out half that gorgeous. A true slice of the jungle, I love it.

Excellent work! I'm shocked those at the base are so lush. The lights must be very strong!

Very nice viv! How do you keep it cool with metal halide and mercury vapor lights? Thanks!

I'm using metal halides with ceramic technology (Osram Powerball). They don't get too warm. And for decreasing the temperature in the metal housing I'm using 40mm-vans.

It isn't a mercury vapor light. The UV spot is also a metal halide.

HQI's put out considerably less heat than standard mogul's, but what is the temperature increase for you?
