Default Camps Vivarium

Hey guys newer to the site but have been researching for the last few months. After I sold my last reef tank I decided to try my hand at tropical plants and dart frogs. I started with an ExoTerra 18x18x24. The plan is a trio of Azureus eventually. Thread will be pic heavy. Let me know what you think...

Welcome to the board. If you are going to be doing a pic-heavy thread, I suggest an image hosting site like Imgur. The way this board handles pics natively is an abomination.

Conversely, if you can size your images with something like photoshop or Gimp (free) and make it so no dimension (height or width) exceeds 2000 px. this site does just fine. I don't know exactly where the trigger is that knocks images down to thumbnail size, but the above method has been working well for me.

Viv is looking good though. Keep the pics coming.

Well the vivariums are done and I figured out the proper way to post pictures. The tank from the first post was the one I built. It is now complete with a waterfall and plants. It was been planted and seeded with isopods and springtails for about 2 weeks now. I purchased 3 juvenile Azureus for this tank but won't be adding them till the end of the month. My second tank I have had for a little over a month now and was purchased from a local who was getting out of the hobby. It houses 4 adult yellow banded Leucs, 3 male and 1 female. I believe the frogs to be about 2 yrs old. I redid the tank and planted it. They seem to be loving it and use every square inch of the tank.

Equipment:

18x18x24 Exo terra tanks
Current USA 18" Satellite pro plus LED (x2) : 8am-10pm
40mm ac infinity fans with built in speed controllers (x2) : 30min on, 1 hour off repeating on medium setting. The fans are housed in 1.5" abs coupling's with fiberglass screen to cover. They are mounted to old cell phone car adapters so they can be pivoted to any position.

Plants were purchased from Understory enterprises as they are local to me. Also purchased a few at Colisanti's tropical garden in Kingsville Ontario.

Frogs:
4 - Adult Leucs (not sure origin)
3 - Juvenile Azureus (Understory enterprises)
