Default jerky anyone

i made this Early discovery about an hour ago. this prompted an all out tank search to look for mia's. i found none. then i got to thinking we have allot of creek frogs that moved into our basement cause of winter i have a good feeling that its one of them. a big scare non the less. Ive only ever lost 2 frogs in six years to an escape but, this thing is perfect thumb/pum size talk about a scare all i could think was RETICS!!!!!

Unfortunately, if you do this long enough (or even more unfortunately if you haven't been doing it too long ) - a frog will escape and meet its end this way.

One trick I learned from a more knowledgable, senior frogger (although I can't recall who) is to place the mummy in a container of water and rehydrate it. Often times - once they get a little more hydrated you can better visualize color and patterning. It may help you determine who got out.

awesome I'm going to try that asap, it would really put my mind at ease to know if it was a dart or not. as i said all of my known frogs are accounted for but there is always froglets poping out of broms in the tanks. cant help but wonder if it is one and it got out while i had the lid open to feed or something.

Great idea rob thats a good tip to pass down.
