I think I need some airplants to glue on the woody-background.
Any suggestions?

i think it looks a fantastic base for a super viv.

get some more plants - things like an "inch plant" would be super and some more broms...

i agree, it looks like a great start. i think you need some colorful plants in there to show off the depth of that backwall. keep updating as you add anything.

what size tank is it?
what are you going to keep in there?

thanks for hsaring

Default Size and stuff

The tank is a 20gal long.

What I want to house in it is 1 Azueres. Is it ok to have a frog by its self, or does it need a companion? I figured that in the wild they are more territorial, and so maybe one frog alone would be fine. What do you think?
Will it need a cocohut?

I will keep everyone posted on any additions.

20 long
that thing looks huge to me. you did a great jod with the depth, and i think it would improve with more plants.

lonely frog
it would be my opinion to put two, but azureus are typically very territorial. i think you could try one until it is sexable, and then add him/her a mate at a later date. some one with more exp, could prolly elaborate on this for us.

coco hut
if you are not going to add any more plants i would say a hut or two is a definate. depending on how many hides you create with more planting it would be optional. i have found that with almost all animals (fish, frogs, toads, chameleons, geckos), the more hides are in the enclosure, the more you will be able to view your pet. it is much more comfortable for the herp to be in a place they feel "safe", which turns out to be healthier also (in most cases) by eliminating stress.

these are just my thoughts and there are WAY more knowledgable people on this board that may elaborate or tell you otherwise.

Default Superthrive

I've been using "superthrive" mixed with distilled water to keep the soil a bit acidic until I get the frogs. Do you think it will be ok?
I read the ingredients and it looks like a bunch of vitamins and plant hormones. Or should I stop using it for about a week or so before I get my frogs?

Well done. If that's your first then I can't wait to see your second. Try some creeping fig, and train it to climb the back ground. It will shoot off like a weed and cover the backing ni no time.

I'm hoping the rainbow saginela will climb the walls in the background. Ironically the java moss I tried as a floor covering before the saginella is coming back resurected. I think it may be jealous lol.

I think I will get another Birdnest-fern(the one that looks like a bromelaid in the right corner), a couple air plants for the back wall. That might help.

I have already started plans for my next one, though I hope to find a large "Lizard lounge" tank for that.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that a lone azureus is fully capable of living a full and happy life.
