Looks nice siliconing one of my ten gallon today or tomorrow. What thumbnail are you planning on getting? And what plants are in the ten vertical?

I really like the 20 long and how it looks. That is such a short tank (relative to how long it is) and it is really easy to come away with a "squat" look. This is especially true once you put your drainage layer in. Yours does not come across as quite so short as some others I have seen (and made myself...).

Good job!

Mark

Thank you so much! It was definitely a challenge with only having 7-8 inches to work with but with sloping the soil and using very large canopy like background plants it really helped. I tried to place the dwarf umbrella trees far enough apart for amply room for hiding which also gave a more filled in look. I have in here a
Neo. Chiquita Linda
Neo. Chiquita Linda x fireball
A small pilea
A lemon fern
A rabbit fern
A regular orchid (yellow blooms)
A small air plant
And S. Repens

Update: 10 vert cracked so I got a 12x12x18.
Loving it and went for more viny plants as the inhabitants are southern variabilis.
Cobalt tank is still going strong but I moved some broms around and am gonna get rid of the Neo.granada as it’s just too large and replace it with another Chiquita Linda hybrid.

I believe they’re beginning to mature as this looks like he’s getting his toe pads and confirming that it’s a 1.1.0 pair.

Did you scrap the ten gallon or are you going to attempt fixing it?

I ended up scrapping it because not only did it crack. The hinges were “frozen” in place guess the cement got in the hinges and the caulk was all coming off I was just done with it at this point.
