Very nice. What is that exactly in the last 3 pics (at first I thought M. arauntica...but now I'm thinking it's not).

that is a beautiful m. milotympanum. Where on earth did you get her? They are incredibly hard to find now a day's. Good luck with her, do you have any mates for her?

I have 6 of what I believe are females , hey were laying clusters like mad a couple of months ago . If possibly 1 or 2 are male im assuming they are juvs , which I truly hope is the case. I bought them from a pet store chain here in canada Super Pet, and I only bought there because no one else had any , which was last summer. Ive read that there is a green and yellow morph out there and some were imported here a couple of years ago :?: What a xmas gift they would be

Yes, "lime" M. milotypanum looks like an awesome frog, from the one picture that I've seen. You may get in touch with Mark Pepper, I believe he had a lime morph, but I think it was M. crocea.

Ha, good luck finding either of those morphs. Mantella's are very scarce to come by now, especially rare color morphs. If I hear ofanything, I will let you know, but it would be heck trying to get it to canada probably (maybe not). Hopefully they will get a bunch coming in during the spring, but I doubt it. I would really like to find some good wild caught aurantiaca's, as well as some milotympanum and expectata. Those would be good christmas gifts too me

I don't think you'll ever see that anymore, since they are on CITES. As for the other 2 species, Xtreme almost always has thme in the imports. Mark Pepper has quite a few different species that he's breeding.

All mantella's are only cites II with strict export limitations I believe. It really only controls the quantity leaving the country. Even aurantiaca's, but I doubt many, if any will come in to the usa. I checked with xtremereptiles, and they didn't have what I wanted in, only baroni, pulchra, and I forgot what else. Isn't mark pepper in canada? What does it take to ship them here? Iknow he has some good breeding projects going on.

Yea, Mark's in Canada. Was referring him to the other guy with the sweet milos. I wouldn't bother importing mantellas from Canada when you can get them so cheap from Xtreme and they do all the import crap. Even though they are wild caught, you seem to have had good luck with one of the "harder" species to breed, so why not the others? Devins got a handle on some auratiaca and crocea breeding projects. It'd be nice to see the majortiy of the mantella species captive bred, because I doubt imports will be coming in much longer, the way habitat destruction is going.
