Arrow Who has fants?

Hi, just wondering who here has Fantasticus and what species (Lowland or Yellow)? If you can post pics and tell me a little about them i would appreciate it too, i have both species but curious to see what others have to say about them.
Im also interested in pictures of their vivarium as i will be building mine in the next few days and would like to see others set ups.

Thanks

I have them though they are the older line so I do not think they are other of the morphs you mentioned.

I have not had any success breeding them and keep them in a very basic 10gal. Other than being very skittish and extremely fast they are great to watch. I think its a toss up if tricolors or fants are the fastest darts.

You might check with markpulawski here on the board. I know that he had a few lowland fants for sale a couple weeks ago.

I do, I have a 1.2 trio of 'standard' fants. They are ninjas!! Always watch them when messing with their tank, they are not too shy when the doors open. Overall, I find mine pretty bold, they have plenty of hiding spots. However, usually they scatter at the site of my camera. I have had this group just over a year. I bought them as a proven trio. They laid several bad clutches the first wet cycle I gave them. This August they started to lay fertile eggs. They are in a heavily planted 10gal vert. Here are a few pics. I do not have a full tank shot, but it is nothing special.

And here is the oldest tad.

Kyle do you have pictures of yours? do they look like the lowlands? im curious to see, i have only read about the nominant and the yellow which is what i have but i would like to read about the old line.

Keith, those frogs are gorgeous congrats on the tads! really enjoyed those pictures thank you for posting them up.

Melissa congrats to you too on the eggs, i hope they all hatch and everything goes well.

Im still looking to get some ideas on vivarium designs so if anyone has full tank shots please post them for me.

Nominant is the old line, though there is new blood with Sean Stewart inibico animals. the first morph (nominant) is the standard red headed morph, some variability but basically red crowns on the head. The 2nd morph here in the states was the yellow morph (now Summersi) which is variable and a terrestrial species but with copper colored markings.
Lowland is also terrestrial and quite variable, some look like standard but most have a full bar going across the crown and a few with a lined head pattern much like a Vent. The LL also will produce variability with the amount of white or creme reticulation through the body, some have just 1 white line while some are heavilty reticulated with creme colored markings.
The white lined Fant and bright red headed (Benedicta) have yet to be imported to the US as far as I know, though it would not surprise me to find out a few have come in through our friends across the pond.
