Default lighting my 6 inverts

Hello,
I have 6, 20 gallon long inverts set up with no lights. 3 side by side on 2 differnt levels. I looked into using 4, 55 watt power compacts from AHsupply, but thats 200 bucks plus. I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. I have ficus repans, and some dwarf broms planted so far- and will add more plants later.
Thank you,
TQ

Josh,
I have not looked into that. My shelves are 40 inches long on the inside demntions. I did not know if the bulbs for shoplight would put the output I am looking for- I figured I would need brighter lights to reach the bottom on the 20 long inverts.
TQ

that is possible but you can get more expensive bulbs that put out quite a of light. Thats a good question i had two lights on my 20 invert one on top and one on the side.

Josh,
I will go and look at homedepot at their lights. If I can find a fixture that will fit and is dual lamp, I will try veralux bulbs. I dont want to put a light on the sides, the middle tank would not get any light this way. Plus, I think it would make the plants grow more towards that side of the tank with the light on it.
TQ
