Default New Build! 36x18x18 Exo Terra

Well I have had this Exo terra sitting around for almost 2 years since being in school prohibited me from building but couldn't pass it up when petsmart had them for $100. I planning this build for either some Oyapoks or Lorenzo tincs. Im looking at building the background with epiweb and some epiweb branches. Was curious if anyone had experience with this material for backgrounds. I will be using the Dusk Moss mix from glass box tropicals for the background and some of the branches. I heard this stuff needs to be kept really moist and if there is an easier way to keep the moisture up besides using a pump in the tank. Would it be better to put some hygrolon on the background for keeping the moisture up?

Any Input would be great!

Here are some pictures of my other amazing animals

Default Re: New Build! 36x18x18 Exo Terra

Made a little progress with my tank build this weekend. The people at Glass Box Tropicals where very helpful with any questions about the epiweb.

I got the epiweb mounted in the tank along with the false bottom put in. I really don't know how I'm going to scape the tank but i have another shipment coming of more cork tubes, abg mix, and some seed pods.

Im planning on using the Dusk Moss Mix for most of the background and on some of the cork bark with hygrolon attached. Without having a misting system I'm hoping the moss stays moist enough with just using a hand mister several times a day.

Does anyone know if leaf litter is hard to come by this time of year?

Hoping to be stocking this tank with either Oyapoks or Lorenzo tincs

I order my leaf littler from DFC or dart frog connection. They have a few types of litter. Always seem to be in stock.
