Default X-mas 55gal Vivarium project.

Hi had a customer drop off a 55 gal tank a week before xmas and wanted a viv built for his g/f. Alot of work and scrambling went into it, but I did finish it. Here is a link to the construction diary if interested.

Not bad for a two day job  Im not sure if you are looking for comments or not, so I have a couple, just disregard if you werent looking for them

I really like the landscaping in this one, and how you did the cliff. I LOVE the waterfall and pond. My only other comment would be on the plants. It looks like you used a couple maranta (or similiar looking plants) right next to each other, I would have placed the apart so there is more continuity throughout the tank... right now from a planting sense you have two seemingly different sides (languages) to the tank, as far as visually. I would bring in more plants to the left hand side that carry the same red language as the right hand plant (not all red, maybe plants with streaks or spots of red, to just give a hint of that color I know there are some maranta that have very nice red spots to them.) ops: Sorry a little of my architecture training there coming out there... will go away now

It will look neat once that variegated ficus covers the whole back. It would be interesting to see a grown out picture, but that wont probably happen unless you know they people eh?

So THAT'S why her tanks look so good

I'd love to see this one once it all grows in.
