Default Finished the 60 gal hex palu

I received my plants, and misting system the other day and got right to work putting everything in place.. Rather than buying a new group of frogs for this tank I took 2 Azureus from my 70 gal bowfront and moved them over along with one I purchased a few days ago which had been in quarantine before adding to the group. I figured moving them would in with the addition would be best so no territories were established yet.

I had a few members recommend that I reduce the water portion of the palu, as darts "prefer less water".. I chose to try it the way it is seeing that there are so many branches that gradually slope up to the surface of the water.

And as I suspected.. Each of the frogs fell in while bouncing around/climbing glass, and they each freaked out for a second, but were able to climb out with ease. They didn't seem distressed, and they haven't fell in since.. However, I will continue to keep an eye on them

I do have about 10 fancy guppies, 5 white clouds, and 3 small silver dollars.. All seem do be doing well.

10 broms, creeping fig, another ficus, million hearts, 2 jewel orchids, a nice peperomia, 2 ferns, and some tillandsia.. With mosses spread around in crevices and parts of the ground.

I DO NOT want to do the 'usual killjoy', but I think azureus are better in the other tank, the bowfront. In hexagonal tank, I think it's better some arboreal species, best climber, to better use the hardscape. A few good sized floating plants may help some frog that falls into the water.
That said, both tanks are very nice.

I have three leucs in the other tank.. Id rather not move the Azureus unless there is an issue. I know your thoughts on this tank Rigel and appreciate the advice.

My thoughts were that the Azureus have larger/stronger legs and could climb out more easily if fallen in.

I did not know you had some frogs in the other viv. I would like to see some pictures of it because it looks well done.
And... my bedroom has become my frogroom too. In addition, I recently taken away my old aquarium for a new frog rack in another room.
Greetings

Seriously? My apologies if this is too forward, since I only just joined... but frankly, any sane female should want to marry you after seeing these tanks in person. "Do you like my frogs" should become the prerequisite to any serious relationship.

I am female, so I'd like to think I have a decent perspective on these things. A girl who doesn't like darts has to be out of her bean.

Nice setups! And don't worry about scaring off girls... if they don't like the frogs, they're a one-night-stander... err.. I mean... they're no keepers.

And the center.. I built a little cave into the hardscape that adjoins the left and right side. Behind the large purplish brom and cork tube. Tough to see in photos, but the frogs love it

VERY COOL! I'm always scared to put a place in my tank that the frogs can hide that well from me. Guess I worry that they will get stuck in there or something. I'm probably just being a worry wart but I had a setup where the background fell away from the glass and the frogs would find a way behind and hide.

I know what you mean.. I didn't really plan well for getting frogs out of the tank, or my other one for that matter. Not looking forward to the day that I have to (for whatever reason)
