Default made some changes

i am happy with the way things are coming along but i do think i am going to purchase another 130 watt power compact for this viv. it looks like some of the plants on the lowest level arent getting enough light. but for the most part things look good.

That's an attractive planting. Is that a Sheffleria on the right--hanging over the pond? I've never come across a species of this that didn't grow into a small tree rather quickly. If there's a miniature species that stays small, I would love to use one in my newest vivarium plan, because I like them, but those I have are house plants in 12 inch pots and are taller than I am.

i dont know if it is a dwarf ive had it for about six years. the piece in my viv is a clipping here is a pic of the main plant. its not vert big but it is a hardy plant. it also seems to grow very slow. i used my hand so you would have an idea of the size.

Thanks, I'll look for one. In the meantime, enjoy your endeavors. That little Ficus vine on top (I believe it is the dwarf pumila Quercifolia var.) will eventually cover your cork bark. I really love that stuff. It stays nice and low, but trails all over, even attaching to your glass and covering the substrate with a nice mat.. However it is very easy to control as the little rootlets are very shallow.
