Default My personal slice of rainforest

Here is my 30 gallon Oceanic cube tank that I set up last year for my five leucomelas...I posted pictures a while back, but the tank has matured a bit, has a few more plants, and I've gotten the hang of taking (slightly) better pictures.
Here is the original thread, with pictures of how it looked before:
http://dendroboard.com/phpBB2/viewtopic ... highlight=

Whole tank shot, stupidly blurry, but the best I could do...

Can anyone see the mourning gecko in this shot? Her head is poking straight up out of the left side of the bromeliad...

Here she is in her Kritter Keeper quarantine home, before her harrowing escape and miraculous rediscovery:

I really wish I could get the hang of taking better shots, and especially closeups, but my camera seems to only be really good at landscape shots. Argh.
Anyway, the frogs seem really happy in their home and are doing very well. The mourning gecko mostly hides, but she is doing well too; she and the frogs never seem to bother each other.
The thing that bugs me the most about this tank is that the frogs track the coco bedding all over the glass, even though I covered as much of it as I could with moss!
I hope you guys like it. I sure enjoy having my own bit of rainforest.

Nice tank! I dunno... I kind of really like it. I worry about the gecko being in there with the leucs... but, nice tank.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I'm glad you're concerned about the gecko, I considered it for a long time before I actually got her. She was quarantined for a couple months before being introduced.
Mourning geckos (Lepidodactylus lugubris) are generally regarded as being the best non-dart tankmate for dart frogs. She and my leucs are pretty evenly matched for size, and I haven't noticed any aggression. If I did, I would move her out, but I'm not too worried. I just have to make sure I throw enough flies in there for everyone. Mourning geckos also need some fruit in their diet, and you can feed them fruit baby food. And she's so cute!

I'm actually more worried about the leucs, as the stress of the gecko looming about could cause casualties.

Haha, looming about...she hardly looms. Like I said, she mostly hides, and my frogs are pretty bold. Her head is about the same size as theirs or maybe a bit smaller. Anyway, I appreciate the concern. Rest assured that I don't rush into these things, though.
