Default Sad but inevitable...

Well I lost my first frog today, one of the female auratus. Probable cause of death was stress by bigger female unfortunately. I found her belly-up in the pond, not floating because it wasn't deep. I had noticed her especially skittish a couple days ago and then she got kind of skinny. Then on Tuesday she went missing, I checked everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found. She wasn't in the pond this morning so it happened sometime between 7 and 4.

But I am glad I have had them for so long and have not had any deaths until this... I guess it comes with the hobby. :?

I just kinda felt like sharing...

Thanks for listening,

Dont feel bad. I lost my female azurues a few weeks ago. just kept gettin skinnier and skinnier. Would strike at the food but either the food didnt stick or she wasn't shooting her tongue out all the way. Guess I'll never know what went wrong. It seems whenever a frog begins to go downhill they go down fast!

I am sorry about your loss.

That is a great pic of a vent though. Roommates can be such a pain in the butt sometimes. Sorry about that!
