Default Tinc sexing help *Update 2/12*

Hi all, was wondering if I could get a little help with these. They were sold to me a 2.0.0, but in the last few months ones toepads have gotten alot larger than the other's and one is alot fatter. Thanks for the help.

Frog 1 is a male. Frog 2 : can't tell. Can you get a shot with all the front toepads? (Body shape looks female, though)

Hard to say. Compare to photo 1 you should say a female, and whats already been told the shape of frog 2 is very female. But what made me doubt is the white toe's, i personaly only have seen that by male's.
But georgus frogs though!!! 8)

Yeah, the white toepads are throwing me off also, but I read that brazilian's have white toes, even the females.
Thanks,
Scott

Default hmmmm

the first pic seems to be a male. as for the white toe pad thing, i can never go by it. i would say 1.1, until you find anything more conclusive.
nice frogs!

I would say frog one is a male. Frog two is probably a female looking at both the toe pads and the abdomen shape. That or two is REALLY well feed or has a serious gut load of parasites. :P Just Kidding

cheers

With tincs you'll also start to notice females being noticeably larger, any chance of a shot with the two together for size reference?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I have as much luck with these as I have with my other tincs. They should be getting close to breeding age, so we'll see what happens.

Well, everyone who guessed 1.1 was right! I got my first eggs from these guys today, hopefully with many more to come.
