Default My New Frogs.

Acquired some new frogs today from Shawn Harrington (SportsDoc).

I received a 2.1 Punta Lauren South Canal Zone Popa.
They are some active little frogs already eating and calling very satisfied with these little guys.

I just got mine from Shawn two weeks ago and already started laying eggs. Beautiful frogs and have a lot of personality. Enjoy!

While my experience is probably not typical (and should not be expected), I've had a situation where pumilio males get along without issue. I put my trio of popas together and quickly found out I had a 2.1. I expected to see problems, but they've been together for about 2 years now and I haven't seen any wrestling or aggression. There's even an adult offspring in the tank I could never catch that I think is also a male, and still no problems.
I saw south Popa pumilio in the wild and I can say they are certainly one of the most beautiful populations in Bocas del Toro. Keep an eye on the males, and best of luck with the froglet!

Thx Bryan, I haven't had an issue yet. U keep them in a 90g very heavy with broms and plants. I do keep an eye on them I love to watch them in the tank they are very active. Also my 2 year old girl loves to view them with me.

like Bryan said.

I too had 2.1 which resulted in a peaceful relationship with about 10 froglets within a year.
