This looks very very nice. What size? I didn't see it in the post. I hope you don't get yelled at for mixing the morphs in this tank.

Very impressive nonetheless.

Wow...your tank is awesome! What size is it? Dimensions? Features?

How big does the Brookesia get and do you have him in with the Pumilio? What do you feed him?

I don't think he's mixing them. From the pics, it looks like the frogs are in their own tanks. Maybe I'm wrong though. :?

That viv looks great. How long has it been up and running? It looks like it's been growing in for a while.

Those are gorgeous pumilios. Are those imports?

LOL Sorry all..

This is my brookesia vivarium..I guess I didnt make that clear. There are no darts (just mantella) and satanic leaf geckos in there. The pumilio shots are of frogs we have paired off in seperate tanks.

The brookesia are about 3 inches from snout to tail tip. A favorite of mine for sure...too bad that they dont come in anymore but I'm happy to have some cb babies that I hatched out. Hope this clears things up.

Oh and the tank is 48" long x 36" high x 24 deep. (I believe 200 gallons) It has orchids, broms, topical moss, ferns, every plant i love under the sun  and a drip wall.

Take care,

Mike

I LOVE those yellow bastis. Do you ever get offspring from them?

Thanks everyone-

Not chameleons but close...sort of

The one in the first pic is brookesia ebenaui and the brookesia I hatched out are thieli. They are about 2 months old now so you can imagine how tiny they were when they hatched!

Brookesia come in VERY rarely now, mainly because the majority do not survive shipping. Even when acclimated they are tough. I have been working with them on and off for about 10 years and I still have a TON to learn. I only know of a select few who are working with them and its important that they stay with people capable of breeding them if they are to have any chance with establishment in captivity. The rate thing are going in Madagascar, they wont be around long.

Yellow bastis call up a storm, but no tads yet, I will keep you all posted.

Fantastic viv. Uroplatus (phantasticus or sikorae) are very high on my 'want to work with' list. Feel free to post lots more pix  .

Hey Nick-

Thanks a bunch  . The lights are 1 power compact (double bulb) 1 T6 plant bulb and 1 reptisun 5.0 UVB bulb for the brookesia. The satanics are great..I was worried because I thought I may not enjoy them as much (the are noctournal) but they'll pull up a nice comfy spot on a bromeliad and sleep out in the open in broad daylight. I've even seen the brookesia crawl over them while they are sleeping and they donít budge.

Thanks everyone for the kind words

-Mike

That's a nice looking female Phantasticus. How many are you working with and how long have you had them?
