Default My new red trivs!

Hi guys! Just wanted to show you guys some pics of my new group of red/orange E. trivittatus. I have what appears to be either 3.2 or 2.3 . I've been reading up on these guys and once they are done win quarantine. I plan to build out a 75 gal with a stream and a pool. I would very much appreciate and advice from keeper who have successfully breed trivs .

Nice. Red trivs are high on my admiration list. I wish you the best of luck with them.

Josh's Frogs posted a caresheet for these on their site a little while ago. They seem to be having pretty good success with them. Congrats! They are really cool frogs.

Awesome dude! I've bred these guys... The tank they were in was a 55gal with a small waterfall/pond. I left the tadpoles in situ after they were transported to the pond. Eggs were laid in pill containers that I foamed into the back wall that were completely covered by large leafed plants. They really seemed to like sleeping up in between the leaves of microsorum linguiforme at night. Males called after feeding and every night for about an hour after lights out (much to my dismay, haha).

Fair warning, the tads morphed out FAST and small. They looked like oversized frog turds at first glance... Have lots of springtails at the ready. Best way to find them was to come in with a flashlight early in the morning and thumb through the leaves. They tend to "roost" like birds when sleeping.

Good luck!,
Brett

Pic isn't showing up for me...

Congrats on the Red trivs, my deal awhile back fell through due to issues with the frogs...I was sad, was really looking forward to them, and now I've blown my wad on other frogs...so I'm gonna have to wait on red trivs....again

Put me on the list if you have breeding!
